How we handle a website enquiry

Purpose and legal basis

We use the details to receive, assess and answer a web-project enquiry and, at your request, take pre-contractual steps. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

Submitted fields

• Name
• Email address
• Company, organisation or project (if entered)
• Project topic
• Description

Recipients

The details are available to authorised GoMedia personnel and the email and hosting providers necessary to receive and operate the enquiry. To prevent form abuse, Google reCAPTCHA processes technical security signals at submission under Google’s privacy and data-transfer terms.

Retention

We retain enquiry data for 12 months after the last correspondence and then delete it. If an enquiry becomes part of a contract, invoice or accounting record, separate statutory retention rules apply.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, object to processing and, where applicable, request portability. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Contact and required fields

Use the contact details on the GoMedia contact page to submit a privacy or rights request. Name, email, topic and description are needed for us to reply; the company, organisation or project field is optional.

Form security

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to assess spam and abuse. A short-lived action token is created only when you submit, verified on the server, and not added to the enquiry, email or GoMedia logs. reCAPTCHA is necessary form security and does not depend on analytics consent.

Analytics choice

If website analytics is configured, GoMedia loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics only after your explicit analytics consent. The choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days and can be changed in cookie settings. The contents of the name, email, company, topic and message fields are not sent as analytics event parameters. When the contact form is opened from a project page, the event may include only the allowlisted technical key for that project.
